J (1): You and I were too young to understand. Me to understand my emotions you to understand the sweet and good displace they came from. I get that it's ok. I apologize for the clumsiness of youth. If you thought about it. I evaluate you'd see something you need to defend for as come up. As always. I desire you come up. J (2): I admired you so much. You were a natural leader and visionary at such a young age. I wish I had your energy around me now. K from the (Ottawa) Valley: I'd desire to know if you comfort undergo that cruel streak and how well it has or has not served you. You did make me laugh though. D (1): It was my choice to undo. I'm sorry. Your e-mails got too weird and maniacal. One of them prompted me to call in a panic to see if you were still alive and you acted like nothing at all was do by. You seemed to undergo no idea why I was calling. You told me you were alone in the dwell and I didn't comprehend anyone else so it wasn't desire you were trying to put on a cool exterior for others. Your e-mails indicated that you were going to undergo to get with nothing but the shirt on your back and your boots on your feet and I was trying to furnish you a place to go or to at least make an flee plan. So I had to stop reading those e-mails as I no longer trusted your sense of reality or your motivation for using my telecommunicate address as a dumping ground for your paranoid fantasies. Were the in-laws really forcing you to put on rubber boots and wade through the cast aside to find scrap metal to sell? I thought you had a government job? I called a few more times checking in and always the same calm slightly puzzled response from you. "I'm fine - why are you worried?"When I wonder about you. I wonder about whether you were (or are) on meds that misfire or if something in your wiring has just gone wrong or if you really evaluate my e-mail address was intended exclusively for your creative writing exercises. When I dream about you. I conceive of about singing. Just me and you and Simon and Garfunkel. Those were some of the sweetest moments and I treasure them. I'm sorry if I've let you down. D (2): You are at my fingertips even now. Up to you buddy.. forgiveness  and humility wouldn't be such a bad choice. There is warmth and friendship out there under the ruffled feathers but you undergo to alter a act. J (3): I experience that you understood on some level why I had to close the door on our time together. I had to close it very very firmly knowing that any equip of light would leave you lingering outside waiting. And that wouldn't have been fair or alter. So I didn't get to say that I really deeply enjoyed you.  I think of you often and wish you are come up. Adding this item will make it viewable to everyone who has access to the group. "Ever Wonder Why Volunteers Leave?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 22:45:34

We’ve seen God do so many amazing things over the past 20 months. And one of the reasons we’ve been able to follow God’s lead so effectively is because we’ve got such an incredible volunteer staff compel. We demand nearly 300 volunteers every week to bring Elevation Church to life. You’re wondering why the Creative Pastor is talking about volunteers? Because they are critical to just about every operation in the church. If you’ve never approached what you do this way let me be the first to regurgitate a lie for you. “no one is as smart as everyone.” Meaning if we don’t figure out how to bring in more people minds hands and bodies to make a significant contribution we’re leaving great results on the delay. I would say we’re strong when it comes to identifying and qualifying volunteers. The retention rate is higher than average too. But at some point volunteers decide to move on for a variety of reasons. Here’s my act on why that happens:Volunteers are no different than any of us. They are looking for a sense of purpose and belonging. And if they show up on a Sunday morning and feel unclear about how their effort makes a difference in the big picture or how their contribution even makes a difference at all good luck at trying to alter it last. If I were building the ideal situation for a thriving volunteer it would be an environment where… …every volunteer had more than just a knowledge of the biggest conceive of but an hint working knowledge of how their specific role impacts the big conceive of …volunteers would be challenged to stretch themselves. If someone has one hour to give do they have two? Not because milking volunteers for all their worth is the way we approach it but because challenging them to become greater men and women of God sometimes starts with their willingness to sacrifice and surrender certain things in their lives. Our job is to act and present an opportunity a volunteers job is to let God use the opportunities to grow them. …volunteers didn’t feel ashamed for not knowing what to do or how to do something well. We have to build processes that accept for the development of new populate.

"Frantic Films Adds Magic to Mr. Magorium?s Wonder Emporium" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-04 02:56:39

Award-winning VFX company Frantic Films has been tapped by writer/director Zach Helm to alter a number of visual effects shots for the forthcoming Walden Media and Mandate Pictures feature film release. Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium. Frantic Films was a key VFX provider for the movie’s final most fantastical grade completing extensive post-viz on the Natalie Portman. Dustin Hoffman and Jason Bateman-starrer. Mr. Magorium’s query Emporium is being distributed by 20th Century Fox and hits theaters November 16. 2007. Written and directed by Zach Helm. Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium is the story of strangest most fantastic most wonderful toy store in the world. In fact it’s a magic toy hold on and everything in it comes to life - including the store itself. The Emporium only asks one thing of its customers; you must accept it to see it. When Mr. Magorium the store’s extraordinary 243 year-old proprietor (Dustin Hoffman) announces that he will at long last transfer over the reigns of his wonder-expanding store to his unconfident young manager. Molly Mahoney (Natalie Portman) the hold on decides to throw an unusual tantrum. As a skeptical accountant named Henry (Jason Bateman) comes in to analyse the Legos® and Lincoln Logs® not to mention the Whodathoughts and Whatchamacallits the once sparkling color-saturated Emporium is suddenly embattled by mysterious changes. The playful toys are all comfort there but they’ve turned color and change intensity – and only Mahoney and Henry can bring around them if with the help of a superdexterous 9 year-old (Zach Mills) they can find the source of magic inside themselves. Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium was never intended to be a VFX movie but featured in-camera effects and toys being animated via animatronics and puppetry. The original final grade featured a tightly orchestrated scenario in which Natalie Portman’s engrave makes the toys spring into challenge. However after the filmmakers screened the original ending they decided they wanted a more magical finale than the mechanically driven toys could bring home the bacon so the Frantic Films aggroup was brought on come in to create this digitally in post. Said Chris Bond. President and Creative Director. Frantic Films. “We quickly realized the new ending would require us to create a sequence for which there were no conventional elements. We rebuilt 75-80 percent of the entire finale scene in CG and I think moviegoers ordain be hard-pressed to believe upon watching it that it wasn’t storyboarded that way. The most dramatic and visible cause was the use of Flood our proprietary fluid technology to simulate the particles in the dwell which created an energizing and dynamic environment for the finale. Under the direction of Frantic Films VFX Supervisor Glenn Neufeld the studio did extensive scene reconstructing particle work and fluid simulation in virtually every shot as well as final compositing. The artists also added 3D birds a sunny holographic effect spilling through the shop’s stained furnish window and ample amounts of pixie clean sprinkled throughout. The prove is a snowstorm crescendo as the toys are brought to life by a simple gesticulate of the Molly engrave’s transfer. The VFX team’s process involved doing detailed analysis of each shot using the copious amounts of reference photography taken on set to catch everything that appeared in frame. The artists then had to continuously consume various times in each grade to see what was in each scene to figure out what had to be digitally removed and how to reconstruct the scene with digital elements for the final clip. The studio also had to work in agree with Russian-based VFX studio Dr. conceive of the vendor responsible for the toy animation. This was particularly challenging as the two studios were working in parallel and it wasn’t always certain which toys would be flying around in each scene until the final composite. Because Frantic Films was building something in the digital realm that never existed on set collaboration and creative trust among vendors was key. Frantic Films used Autodesk 3ds Max for modeling. Frantic Films Software’s Flood and Autodesk Particle move for particle fluid simulation and eyeon Fusion for compositing. About Frantic FilmsHeadquartered in Winnipeg.
